Although I’ve shifted decidedly in favor of autofocus lenses, after many years of trusting mostly manual focus, I still enjoy outings with a few tried-and-true lenses.

The Milvus 2/135 APO Sonnar is one of those, an especially welcome addition to the bag since there’s nothing equivalent in SL glass. The 90-280mm is fantastic at 135mm, but a lighter weight prime makes for a good option when longer focal lengths aren’t needed.

The 2/135 is especially good at totally obliterating background structures at reasonable ranges, as well as for edge-to-edge sharpness on landscapes.
