On the day after Leica set tongues atwitter with its new TL3–M M11, at least one person was scurrying around, trying to round up some abandoned TL glass.
A morning excursion into the heartland yielded a Germany-made 60mm macro; a visit to a favorite shop landed the other Germany-made lens in the lineup, a 35mm Summilux; and an afternoon jaunt into the suburbs scored a 55-135mm. It was a pure fluke that I managed to return home with all three today, but at least I’ll be able to spend tomorrow putting them to work.
With 10mp shots no issue for me at the moment, they will probably get some use on the SL2-S as well. I like the set of options these open up when combined with my M glass.
No sign of the most coveted one: the 23mm Summicron. No sweat, though . . . you can be sure I’ll find one somewhere . . .
