My grubby little hands managed to latch on to a 75mm Summilux-M today. It’s from the first year of production with the slide-out hood, and in remarkably good condition for its age. It replaces the soon-to-be outbound 90mm Summicron-SL, which had replaced my well-worn, old 80mm Summilux-R.
It’s supposedly the same optical formula as the R lens and noticeably lighter. I’m all for modern, but some classics just can’t be replaced.
