The short end of many standard zooms, 24mm, is about as wide as I usually go, especially in an urban environment. But sometimes it’s fun to see what “wider” looks like. The SL 16-35mm is a great tool with which to explore the ultrawide world.
But shooting long is what I enjoy most. And a fast-growing bulbul from a longtime critter friend’s latest brood seemed happy to perch for my SL 90-280mm.
From one end to the other, and in between, L-mount seems to have things covered nicely.
