Out with the 90D and 100-400mm this morning, I encountered what appeared to be a pair of Pacific Golden Plovers foraging in a mud flat. Out by the seawall on the strait in the afternoon, more plovers of a different type were seen; and captured with the R6, 600mm f11, and RF extender 1.4X.
Neither setup seemed to render with much feather detail; but the morning can be blamed on heat rise. Afternoon? Maybe a tired photographer . . .
