From a seemingly endless streak of days of downpours to the longest spell of decent weather in recent memory, today was another mostly sunny day. Although many of my friends retreated to the shaded areas, a few were kind enough to share their little countenances for my camera.
Using mostly the RF 800mm on the R6 II, the only shortcomings in image capture were due to deficits in my technique and ability. The gear performed spectacularly, f/11 autofocus accurate even under dim canopy. It’s almost enough to make me wonder whether the R6 II could handle the quirks of the RF 100-500mm.
“Almost,” yes, but not quite.
