Is it any wonder . . .

. . . that I now enjoy shooting other stuff almost as I enjoy chasing critters? No, not with a compact like the M10-R and the great glass that goes with it.

Lately I have been wearing out the perspective control feature, starting with the 18mm f/3.8 Super-Elmar-M. But it shows a tiny bit of barrel distortion when PC is used on architecture, as well as elongating elements of the image. The 24mm f/3.8 Elmar-M ASPH gives perfectly straight verticals and is fantastic for capturing buildings.

Having such a wearable camera allows me chances to click away on days when I run errands and don’t have time for the field. For gear that takes such sharp images, it is a great way to defocus (me)!
