The eternal question for a bird stalker . . . and over the years I’ve vacillated back and forth between one and the other. Still no clear answer, but when one looks at the number of megapixels in the various flagship cameras, the less-crowded sensors are in favor.
Which puts me at the glass end of the spectrum right now, especially seeing how certain lenses render with such detail on the R6.
Speaking of which, the AF got fooled for a second this afternoon, but in a good way. Aiming at a butterfly, it quickly locked on the fake “eye” on his wing! A point of amusement and interest, yes, but not anything I’d even dream of complaining about.
The R6’s bag of surprises seems filled with only good ones . . .
