The 16-35mm SL is so spectacular on landscape, architecture, and whatever else I point it at that one of its specs had slipped my mind until today. At 35mm, MFD is about ten inches and it goes to 1:3.7.
That’s not exactly macro territory, but the short focal length allows for a lot of depth, even wide open. When having the entire subject in focus is desirable, it’s a great option. Great, too, for wherever else I feel like aiming it.
