A few months back, several of the rumors websites forecast the impending introduction of the CL2. With an eager taker available for my all-black CL, I figured it was a good time to let it go to make room for the update.
The rumors websites were incorrect. I missed my CL.
I carried the CL strapped in a way such that the back LCD faced upward. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight sometimes caused the camera to get very hot to the touch, although it never failed me.
So this time I got a silver anodized copy. I had it out in the boiling sun earlier today and I’m pretty sure I came closer to getting overheated than the camera did.
I’m happy. My only hope now is that this featherweight gem doesn’t make me too lazy to carry the SL2…
