Yeah, I know I said that I like the smaller file size of the M10. But after reading a bit about the upgrades the M10-R has (and after having one figuratively dangled in front of me), I returned the M10 and got an M10-R.
The perspective control is probably the one feature I’m most eager to try. No problem shooting .jpg, as neither C1 20, DXO Photolab 4, nor even Mac Big Sur have support for the M10-R’s raw files.
As long as I’m shooting locally, I can live with it. And if there’s an absolute need to shoot something in raw, Affinity Photo can handle the files, though very slowly.
This transition from the SL2 has progressed well so far, and is not far from being done. Now about the accompanying learning curve . . .
