Not long ago I traded a bunch of stuff for another bunch of stuff, a big part of which was some Milvus ZF.2 lenses. With a Z7 and FTZ, I figured I could get some backup use out of them.
Yes, they have incredible optics. All of them. But SL lenses have recently spoiled me to the pleasures of accurate autofocus. And the Milvus lenses are manual focus.
Worse, the faster ones are heavy, by any format’s standards. I headed out the door today with one on the Z7 and two in the Hadley, and my shoulder was aching after a couple of kilometers. Maybe it’s how they handle as much as it is the weight, but…
. . . I sense another “bunch of stuff” trade occurring in the near future . . .
