Slim Pickings . . .

Out in 72% humidity and 90F heat, the worth of a stroll through the neighborhood “patch” was questionable due to a dearth of critters. I tolerate this weather progressively less well with age, which is why I so enjoy my shifting interest towards shooting short.

Critter-chasing will surely be the pursuit of choice if travel, particularly to a more moderate climate, is ever permitted. But for now, it’s an occasional thing.

The tiny one depicted below is, depending on which “expert” one believes, either an Oriental Silvereye, Japanese White-Eye, or Swinhoe’s White Eye.
