Out and about running errands today, I had only a few opportunities to shoot. But the best opportunity was a shot at another Mandler piece, a late (11861) 135mm f/4 Tele-Elmar-M. You better believe I grabbed it, as I prefer the look of that one over the much-vaunted APO-Telyt-M.
Bone sharp wide open it is not. But it fits in perfectly with the other Mandler glass in the arsenal so far. It’ll get put to the test as the week progresses, but chances that came today were for the 90mm, which showed itself to be a bit like the 75mm Summilux—minus 300 grams and easier to focus!
